One of the criteria is a clear environmental policy with concrete goals for health, safety and the environment – a policy we have recently updated.

Rør-System AS shall contribute to sustainable development through responsible operations, environmentally conscious choices and continuous improvement of our environmental work. We shall deliver our services in a way that reduces negative impact on the external environment, while safeguarding quality, safety and profitability.

Our environmental work shall be a natural part of the company's management system and form part of the planning, execution and follow-up of all projects and activities.

We shall work to:

Reduce the environmental impact related to our operations, projects and deliveries
Promote sustainable solutions, material choices and working methods
Prevent pollution and ensure proper handling of waste and environmentally hazardous substances
Contribute to increased source separation, reuse and recycling
Set requirements for responsible and sustainable procurement and suppliers
Comply with laws, regulations and other relevant environmental requirements
Ensure that employees have the necessary knowledge and awareness of the environment and sustainability
Create a culture where all employees contribute to environmental improvements in their daily work
Continuously develop and improve our environmental management system and work processes

We shall be a responsible player in the construction and industrial sector, and work purposefully to reduce our environmental footprint throughout the value chain. Through collaboration with customers, suppliers and employees, we aim to contribute to more sustainable projects and solutions for the future.

The environmental policy applies to the entire company and shall be known to all employees and relevant partners. Responsibility for follow-up lies with management, but environmental work is a shared responsibility for everyone at Rør-System AS.

First-time certification

As part of our first-time certification, we share our annual environmental reporting. For 2025 we have reported both measured and estimated figures, along with goals and measures for the next three years. The report shows where we stood environmentally when the journey towards Eco-Lighthouse began.
