Oslo Tech Show 2026: Two Days, Full Notebooks, and New Connections

Oslo Tech Show is over for this year, and Rør System heads home from Lillestrøm with full notebooks and new connections. Data Centre Expo confirmed what we already knew: Norway is building and planning data center capacity at a pace we have never seen before.

Norway is in the middle of a data centre revolution

Data Centre Expo at Oslo Tech Show confirmed something we already knew: data centre capacity is being built and planned in Norway at a pace we have never seen before. Demand for AI infrastructure, cloud capacity, and digital storage is growing faster than ever — and with it comes an enormous need for critical M+P infrastructure that actually delivers.

Cooling, piping, prefabrication, and technical installations are not support functions in a data centre — they are the core. This is the infrastructure that determines whether the facility delivers on uptime, efficiency, and operational economics. Without the right M+P expertise, there is no functioning data centre infrastructure.

Many good meetings — and a lot to follow up

Two days in Lillestrøm produced a great deal. We got to speak with people who are in the middle of projects we can contribute to — not future opportunities, but concrete projects where the need for our expertise is real and near. The notebooks are full, and the list of follow-up points is long. That is exactly how a good trade show should end.

What we experience in this market is that decisions are made by people with technical depth, not just by procurement departments. Conversations about piping and cooling systems happen with people who understand what it means to deliver commission-ready — and those are the conversations we thrive in.

A complete offering — together with EPTEC and Entrega

We shared the stand with our partners EPTEC Energi and Entrega — two companies that, together with us, represent a complete end-to-end mechanical infrastructure offering for the data centre market. EPTEC delivers cooling and heat pump solutions as well as specialised technical expertise. Entrega specialises in couplings, expansion solutions, and pipe compensators for demanding industrial installations. And Rør System ties it all together with engineering, prefabrication, and installation of pipe systems.

Together we represent a delivery model that the market demands: professional depth across disciplines, coordination from the engineering table to commissioning, and a shared responsibility for the facility working as intended from day one.

Rør System commits long-term to data centres

Oslo Tech Show was one step along the way, not an endpoint. Rør System is committing long-term to the data centre industry — through competence development, partnerships, and a clear positioning as a specialist in critical M+P infrastructure. We are here for the projects where there is no room for half-measures.

Did you not get the chance to visit the exhibition, or did you miss us in hall C? Feel free to reach out directly — we are not hard to get hold of, and the conversation usually starts with a simple message.
