Fredheim Care Centre in Dovre is a specialist project for Rør-System within advanced fire protection of healthcare buildings. The assignment involved installation of a high-pressure water mist system with an operating pressure of 225 bar – a technology that provides highly effective fire suppression with minimal water consumption and limited damage to furnishings and building structure. In addition, a pre-action sprinkler system was installed for zones with sensitive installations, and a Deluge system for particularly fire-exposed zones. The project demonstrates Rør-System's in-depth expertise in fire protection of care buildings and healthcare institutions.
