Aerosol systems must be assessed and documented against the correct regulatory basis specifically for aerosol — not against regulations intended for other system types.
Application, room conditions and life safety are key prerequisites that must be clarified early.
Part of a holistic assessment
Aerosol is part of the same needs-based assessment as sprinkler, gas, water mist and foam. We recommend it where the conditions call for it — not as a universal default.
