Commissioning
Commissioning is where engineered performance is proven in practice — through tests, functional verification, and documentation.

What commissioning covers
Commissioning of suppression systems may include:
- Hydraulic tests and pressure tests
- Tightness and integrity tests for gas systems
- Functional testing of the system
- Integration testing against fire detection and control systems
- Documentation as the basis for handover
The whole must work
A suppression system only works when detection, control and suppression operate together. That is why integration testing is a central part of commissioning.
